Rey and the boys present their next entry of their “weird” science miniseries with the star studded (plus a lesser Baldwin) 1990 film “Flatliners”. Following Nelson’s (Kiefer Sutherland) lead/behest, four other medical students (though one is billed as a Doctor in the cast…) set out to explore near death experiences to discover if there is indeed an afterlife. Four of the five students are voluntarily murdered and revived with success until surreal visions from their personal pasts begin to terrorize their minds. That’s one hell of a pickle to be in. How are Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt, and William Baldwin going to get through this? Forgiveness? Loss? Death? Tune in to listen to the boys work through the plot and resolution of this thriller that benefited from a sequel AND a reboot (which are likely awful).
