Cinekuest Presents: Groundhog Day aka Why Being a Doosh Works Out in the End
So here we present to you one of those that there super classy-classical-type comedy-almost-horror masterpieces of the early ’90s. Phil Connors (Bill Murray) is a weatherman from Pittsburg who really loves the smell of his own farts and is due to be scouted for a better station anytime now. Until then, he has to go hang out with the “hicks” at the Punxsutawney Groundhog’s Day Celebration for the fourth year in a row. Poor baby gets cranky without his juice box. After a half-assed attempt to report his boredom, “Ready in 3….2….*middle finger*…1…”, Phil ends his day stuck in town from some freak weather, and gets up the next day. He has the same coffee, the same conversations, the same celebration…the same day. And then…again. The same day. Over and over. What is a guy to do with eternity? Does the party ever end? No hangovers, no work, no bills, no problems…sounds great…right? Come chill with Daniel, Rey, and Roland as we sus out the details.
